Music Center

"There have been more and more studies showing that exposure to music early on, playing a musical instrument, involvement with music, has associations with intelligence, with school performance" said child psychologist Jennifer Thorpe.

Like math, art and language, experts say music is one more way to stimulate the development of the brain.

Pride & Joy Preschool provides various kinds of musical instruments to intrigue children's interest. At our music center, our children perform and create their own rhythm. They form their own band, pick their own songs, balance and coordinate their movements while strumming their guitars, shake and dance with their tamborines, giggle and laugh as they play on and on.

Through music, children also learn listening skills, gross and fine motor skills, self-expression and much more.
