Ever wonder if paint works just as well frozen? Well, we tried it, and yes it does!
To prepare for this activity we filled ice trays and small paper cups with paints we mixed with water. We then put Popsicle sticks in the middle so the children wouldn’t have to hold onto the ice directly. We used large pieces of butchers paper and went to town! The children learned all about ice, how it melts and spreads as it once again becomes liquid--all while making a masterpiece.
