Circle Activities

Each day at Pride & Joy Preschool, our children will participate in group activities. At this time we introduce to our children the old-time favorites of the traditional nursery rhymes, including those of foreign countries. We encourage our children to talk about the weather, discuss what we will be doing for the day, what to expect for tomorrow including events that will take place in the future. We believe that if the day is predictable and that our children are prepared for what's ahead, we will have a more successful transition throughout the day. Therefore, circle time has become a routine that is much like all the other essential activities we provide at Pride & Joy Preschool. We also take this opportunity to acknowledge the importance of each child's accomplishments, politeness, and kindness towards others.
